The solution provides interconnection between several ICS 200/60 systems or with third party voice communication control systems.

The ICS 200/60 provides access to all telephone networks commonly used for air traffic control, including VoIP, ISDN and ATS networks based on ATS R2/No.5 (MFC R2/No5), ATS QSIG and IVA signalling.

Additionally, digital interconnections between several ICS 200/60 systems, operational ICS 200/60 legacy systems or with other voice communication control systems based on VoIP (ED-137B) 2 Mbps E1 are supported.

Depending upon the capabilities of the connected voice communication control systems, a fixed or dynamic allocation of telephone connections and even radio channels to the available voice slots can be applied.

Furthermore, the digital interconnection between several ICS 200/60 systems or even with the third party voice communication control systems is supported and based on VoIP according to EUROCAE ED-137B, 2 Mbps E1 or 64 kbps E0 links.

Depending upon the capabilities of the connected VCSs, a fixed or dynamic allocation of telephone connections and even radio channels to the available voice slots can be applied.

Depending upon the network capabilities, failures on lines are immediately recognised or recognised through automatic periodic tests.

The links to remote radio sites can be based on analogue or digital lines. For the digital lines, the ICS 200/60 supports VoIP (ED-137B), 2 Mbps trunks and 64 kbps links with voice data compression.
